Disasters destroy, disrupt, and devastate. Project Hanabi (a Youth for Causes initiative) is working with Mercy Relief to rescue, restore and relieve. We are a team of students from National Junior College that hope to be part of the fight against Covid-19, and we believe that you do to!
The overall mission of Mercy Relief is to provide timely and effective aid when disasters strike and empower communities in Asia. Covid-19 is no doubt a situation that has impacted all of us and Mercy Relief hopes to help communities survive and thrive in this time.
Your valuable donation will help support Mercy Relief in providing emergency aid to disaster victims and long-term programmes that aim to build resilient communities. In early April, Mercy Relief donated 300 care packages for the underprivileged, via partnering with another organisation (Food from the Heart) in Singapore. Recently, Mercy Relief was also able to provide food rations and relief kits to vulnerable families in Golaghat, Assam. With your support, more of such initiatives that are lifelines will be possible.
"Hanabi" translates to fireworks, which is something magical but won't last forever. Though this project may be short, the spirit of compassion and care that we aim to share is like the smoke that remains. We invite you to be a part of this project and together, let us light up the skies with our hanabi.
