Our Campaign Story
ends 13 Sep 2022, 11:59 PMMany dyslexic kids study in mainstream schools within Singapore. However, due to their learning disability, they often require extra support out of curriculum hours. DAS provides these students with the support they much need. Unfortunately, these students cannot afford the extra support they require, hence as a project partnered with DAS we aim to raise funds as well as raise awareness for these students.
About Campaign
DAS needs up to $2 million dollars a year to support our students from low-income families who dearly need interventions for their bursary support. Dyslexia is a lifelong condition that affects reading, writing, organisation and time management. In 2022, as we enter the year of the Tiger we would like to boldly begin our fundraising activities and achieve the goal of $300,000 The campaign: 'Support Children with Dyslexia! #embracedyslexia' aims to not only raise $300,000 on giving.sg to meet our fundraising goals but to create awareness of the situations families face as well.
About The Charity
In our efforts to continuously provide and improve our professional services to dyslexics in Singapore, we rely heavily on public donations to sustain our daily operations. DAS provides more than $2 million in bursaries every year and this figure is rising. Without support from the generous people and organisations of Singapore, this support would not be possible.
