We are Project Crescent, a group of 6 students from Raffles Girls' School, raising funds for Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Needy Patients Fund to help patients in need. 100% of your donations will go towards helping needy patients so that they can receive critical medical care in a timely manner. SGH Needy Patients Fund helps patients who have undergone means testing with basic and life-saving needs such as dialysis, equipment, consumables and treatments not covered by prevailing subsidy schemes.

Mr Yuan F.M. has been struggling with multiple chronic illnesses including diabetes, high blood pressure and psoriasis for over 10 years. When he suffered a stroke in 2014, he could not work. But his medical bills only kept increasing with his failing health.

There are many Mr Yuans among us. At Singapore General Hospital, the largest and oldest hospital in Singapore, we serve over 1 million patients from all walks of life every year.

Every year, at least 2000 needy patients -more than 97% of them with per capita income of $800 and less- need your help to pay for life-saving care and treatment like interim dialysis and milk feeds which are not covered by existing schemes like Medifund.

The SGH Health Development Fund supports the promotion, development and provision of health related services to benefit the Singapore community at large. These initiatives include assistance to patients in need, and advances in medical research and education to improve patient care.
