Our Campaign Story

I've always LOVED having birthday parties, and being greeted with presents. However, birthday parties and presents are more of a WANT than a NEED. I've come to realise that there are so many people who would benefit MORE from the money spent on parties & presents. This money would be a NEED for them - it would help them ensure that their basic necessities are met.

I hope you would also find some joy in GIVING for such a meaningful cause. Sacrifice 1 day's worth of Starbucks coffee, or money you would have spent on a present & pledge it to the Community Chest.

Love, Pav

The Community Chest supports about 80 social service agencies that empower the lives of:

- Children with special needs and youths-at-risk to reach their potential
- Adults with disabilities to integrate into society
- Relationships of families in difficulty to stay resilient
- Elderly to age graciously in the community
- Persons with mental health conditions to integrate into society
