Our Campaign Story

Remember Panda, the boy that was rescued without a paw? (https://www.facebook.com/SOSDSingapore/posts/1922255801158353)

It's been more than 2 months since he was rescued, and despite medication and daily care for his wound, recovery was very slow. Vets told us grimly that it may be cancer, and the best way forward for his recovery, is amputation.

Panda went for his surgery yesterday, and x-rays showed that his bones have been crushed together, perhaps due to a traumatic accident. To rule out cancer, the entire leg has to be sent for biopsy.

Panda is currently recovering at the vet. It'd be a few days before he can be discharged, and go home with his fosterers. When he woke up from his surgery yesterday, he was whining sleepily, until the staff at the clinic went to sit with him. This boy has slowly stolen our hearts.

In our previous fundraiser for him, we didn't manage to raise enough to cover his vet bills. With your support, we hope to be able to raise enough, to give him the best care possible, and to keep him as comfortable as possible. Please donate if you can, and help share his story. Every cent (and share) counts! Thank you so much!
