Our Campaign Storyends 31 Dec 2019, 11:59 PM
Hello friends!!! I'm 19!!!
This year (2019), I'm still going to support women & girls survivors, who went through the trauma of sexual violence. As such, I have decided to dedicate my campaign to the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE)'s Sexual Assault Care Centre.
The Sexual Assault Care Centre (SACC) is the only centre of its kind that provides trauma-informed support to survivors of all forms of sexual violence in Singapore. SACC relies on donations to keep their services free for sexual assault survivors who reach out to them, so please donate to this campaign so that their services remain accessible for any survivor that needs support!
No amount is too little or too much ---
$10 --- Every little bit counts
$30 --- Covers 1 free counselling session
$50 --- Covers 1 free counselling session + transport for 1 befriending session where they accompany the survivor to the police station, hospitals or the courts
$100 --- Covers 2 free counselling sessions + 1 legal information session
You can find out more information about AWARE and SACC through their official websites to help you make your decision --

SACC - sacc.aware.org.sg/
Thank you so much for reading, hope that you can donate and support my campaign, if not, please help share this around, any form of help is appreciated! ;).
About The Charity
The Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE) is Singapore's leading gender equality advocacy organization. AWARE supports and empowers women on an individual basis and seeks to remove all gender-based barriers that prevent individuals in Singapore from developing their potential to the fullest and realizing their personal visions and hopes. It does this in three ways, namely, research and advocacy, education, and providing social services.
In 2016, AWARE won the Charity Governance Award 2016 for the Medium Charities/IPCs category.
The Charity Governance Awards, (CGA), organised by the Charity Council, aim to promote good governance in the charity sector by acknowledging the excelling work of charities, while inspiring others to emulate their best practices.
AWARE qualified as a candidate for the CGA by becoming a winner of the Charity Transparency Awards (CTA). The CTA recognises charities with good disclosure practices.
