Our Campaign Story

ends 21 Aug 2021, 11:59 PM

Rag (Receive and Give) & Flag Day is an annual carnival by NUS students. With a long history dating back to the 1960s, Rag & Flag Day has evolved into one of NUSSU's annual flagship events. Every year on Rag & Flag Day, over 1300 students will put up a vibrant display of floats and dance as means of extending our appreciation towards the general public for their generous contribution, in the form of donation, towards our charitable course. However, due to COVID-19, NUSSU was unable to hold Rag & Flag Day in its original form, and the medium of Livestream was adopted, in line with safe-distancing measures, to broadcast the talented performances of NUS students and keep to our tradition of extending our gratitude to the public. For Rag & Flag Day 2021, a similar broadcasting format will likely be utilized to ensure that our objectives are met while keeping our students and viewers safe. NUSSU Rag & Flag Days 2021 will be held on 07 Aug 2021, from 1730hrs to 2030hrs.
