Our Campaign Storyends 31 Dec 2016, 12 AM
We, at Verztec Consulting Pte Ltd, are fundraising for Canossaville Children's Home (CCH)'s Family Bonding 2017.
Held on a quarterly basis, these events serve as a platform for parents, caregivers and children to come together to foster and strengthen family ties through an array of purposeful activities planned. It also provide an excellent opportunity for staff to interact with these families so CCH is able to provide a holistic intervention approach to those in need.
Through a multitude of carefully planned activities, CCH hopes for:
- Improved communication within families by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively.
- Fostering of healthy emotional ties between parents and children.
Family Bonding activities range from a year end Carnival, Family Outing/ Excursion, etc, and will be conscientiously planned to maximise the benefits for each child.
Funds for this campaign will go towards organising 3 Family Bonding events for the year 2017.
We hope that through supporting this campaign, we can help CCH in creating more awareness on their Family Bonding events to create happier, more bonded families.

Founded in 1941, Canossaville Children's Home (CCH) offers residential care to girls aged between 6 years to 12 years who come from family situations which may put them at risk. Our Special Student Care Centre offers before/after school care for boys and girls, including those with special needs; with priority for the most needy.
In view of the changing social landscape, the new name of Canossaville Children and Community Services will be adopted to serve the larger community in MacPherson/ Aljunied. There are plans to expand our Student Care Centre, as well as start an Inclusive Childcare Centre to cater mainstream and Special Needs children from the community. We also aim to ultimately include a specialist team consisting of speech therapist, educational psychologist, social workers etc. called "Canossian Circle of Care" to provide additional professional help required by the children and families within the Canossian Eduplex and community.
2017 is our transitional year. Operations for the new centres will begin in 2018.
