Our Campaign Storyends 31 Dec 2016, 11:59 PM
We, at Verztec Consulting Pte Ltd, are fundraising for Canossaville Children's Home (CCH)'s Family Bonding 2017.
Held on a quarterly basis, these events serve as a platform for parents, caregivers and children to come together to foster and strengthen family ties through an array of purposeful activities planned. It also provide an excellent opportunity for staff to interact with these families so CCH is able to provide a holistic intervention approach to those in need.
Through a multitude of carefully planned activities, CCH hopes for:
- Improved communication within families by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively.
- Fostering of healthy emotional ties between parents and children.
Family Bonding activities range from a year end Carnival, Family Outing/ Excursion, etc, and will be conscientiously planned to maximise the benefits for each child.
Funds for this campaign will go towards organising 3 Family Bonding events for the year 2017.
We hope that through supporting this campaign, we can help CCH in creating more awareness on their Family Bonding events to create happier, more bonded families.

Formerly known as Canossaville Children's Home, the residential home was closed earlier this year to make way for an inclusive preschool and student care centre to cater to mainstream and special needs children, giving priority to the most needy. A Child Development Unit (CDU) comprising a team of speech therapists, education psychologists and social workers to meet the specialised needs of the children is also being set up, and is scheduled to be operational in 2018.
In preparation for our new role as Canossaville Children & Community Services, developments are ongoing. This includes the designing of a special curriculum to meet the unique needs of Canossaville, with a distinctive focus on Formation of the Heart, the key foundation of a Canossian education.
Canossaville Children & Community Services is an approved Institute of Public Character (IPC) and is authorised to receive tax-deductible donations.
