Our Campaign Storyends 04 Jun 2022, 11:59 PM
Notable Hobbies bring bitesize philanthropy closer to your lifestyle by merging with Nature (Green Oxygen) + Hobby (e.g. Badminton, Yoga) + Connections (boost your mental health too) All-in-one!
Participants of Badminton in Nature (BIN) (our 1st Notable Hobbies), enjoy connections with good souls & healthier lifestyle without incremental time and effort through their active hobbies. Participants donate a nominal donation of SGD10 (or more) to enjoy three (3) available confirmed sessions whether they participate or not each sessions. The charitable cause acts as an impetus for active lifestyle.
Grateful to receive donations and happy to be contacted by potential participants, donors and volunteers (to hold subset of Notable Hobbies) or all-in-one partners.
Our 1st set of donations of about 10 participants from varied nationalities residing in Singapore have already been donated to Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) under respective individual participants of BIN's personal name since Apr 2021. It is time for more concerted efforts through this Campaign. MENTAL HEALTH is a Niche and Hot by-products of Covid Pandemic that needs to be addressed.
Good news! we have our 1st volunteer and the birth of our 2nd Notable Hobbies called Yoga in Nature (YIN) led by our 1st volunteer Mrudul. Stay tuned for announcements of our 1st session of YIN!
About The Charity
Your donation matters.
Your invaluable donation can empower and help our beneficiaries in their journey to recovery and mental wellness. With your kind support, we can continue to provide rehabilitative, outreach, and creative services and programmes to persons with mental health issues, and help them recover and reintegrate back into the community.
Your generous gift also counts in funding our efforts to raise public awareness about mental well-being and resilience, as well as reduce the social stigma, and promote acceptance and respect for persons with mental health issues.
Established in 1968, the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) is a non-profit and non-government social service organization, a registered charity under the Charities Act and an approved Institution of Public Character (IPC). We have also been awarded the coveted Charity Transparency Award in 2018 & 2019 by the Charity Council.
