Hello! We are from Volunteer Guitar Connection! We are a group of passionate individuals brought together by our love for music and our shared compassion to use music to bring joy to the less privileged in the community.
We are partnering NKF once again to bring life and hope to kidney patients. Many of them are from the lower-income groups and are unable to afford their monthly dialysis fees of over $2,000. However, with you and the community's strong support, the treatment they receive is highly subsidised, with about 50% of them paying $0 a month.
Through our music performances, we hope to shed light on the detrimental impact kidney failure has on individuals and their families, and to raise funds to support them. A little donation can go a long way and all proceeds will go to the NKF's General Fund to provide subsidised treatment and care for NKF patients.
Follow us on FB (https://www.facebook.com/VolunteerGuitarConnection) and IG (https://www.instagram.com/VolunteerGuitarConnection/) to find out how we are raising awareness on kidney health.
Catch us LIVE on 5 March 2022, 5pm to 6pm, on KWCLR's IG (https://www.instagram.com/kwc.letsrevolutionise) and NKF's FB (https://www.facebook.com/NKFsg) where we will be performing to raise funds for NKF kidney patients. Our performance will also be streamed on our social media platforms.
Support kidney patients by donating generously now! Let's uplift their lives together.

Kidney We Care: Let's Revolutionise! (KWCLR) is back! Happening from 28 February to 13 March 2022, KWCLR is a hybrid charity event helmed by volunteers and partners to urge the nation not to sugar coat the silent killer, kidney disease.
The event aims to continue to heighten community awareness about kidney disease and to bring forth a new wave of kidney health advocates. There will be virtual activities comprising a plethora of engaging workshops, insightful webinars and electrifying performances initiated by our volunteers and partners as well as outreach & fundraising booths to encourage members of the public to contribute and participate for a good cause. Through this event, we hope to raise $50,000 to provide subsidised treatment and holistic care for our patients.
The Covid-19 situation has brought about unprecedented challenges for both NKF and our patients. The disease has placed our patients at higher risk due to their weaker immune systems. Just as worrying, about 5.5 individuals are diagnosed with kidney failure every day and the number of new cases has increased by about 60% over the past 10 years. With NKF serving over 5,000 of them, the financial burden on NKF is a heavy one, as it costs over $25,000 a year to treat and care for a kidney patient. However, with you and the community's generous support, we are able to keep treatment affordable and available to all who need it.

About The Charity
The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is currently supporting more than 5,300 kidney failure patients, about two-thirds of the national kidney failure patient population. Our patients are of the lower income group. Treating a patient costs over $2,000 a month, however, the treatment our patients receive is highly subsidised, with 76% paying $50 or less a month out-of-pocket.
NKF remains committed to journeying with our patients every step of the way in their treatment and rehabilitative care, advocating kidney health to prevent kidney failure and making a difference in the renal landscape to benefit the community.
Partner us in giving Life & Hope to our patients now!
All donations received through Giving.sg will be channelled to NKF General Fund, which will be used to provide subsidised dialysis treatment and holistic care for our patients.
