How Your Donation Makes a Difference
A $50 donation improves the mobility of our needy patients by providing them with walking aids.
A $100 donation allows our needy patients to continue the recovery journey at home by providing them with medical supplies such as wound dressing.
A $200 donation improves the overall health of our needy patients by providing them with one month's supply of milk feeds.
A $500 donation enables our needy patients who have breathing difficulties to be home with their loved ones, by providing them with breathing machines.
Our Campaign Storyends 31 Dec 2020, 11:59 PM
I turn 50 on the 31st of October and my birthday wish is to raise $20,000 for needy patients through the TTSH Community Fund.
Being a part of the Home Ventilation and Respiratory Support Service (HVRSS) team, I witness the struggles of patients such as those suffering from muscular dystrophy. I see the emotional, financial and physical struggles they go through. It hurts to see that some of these patients feel that they are "burdens" to their loved ones.
Instead of giving me gifts, please donate to TTSH Community Fund. Your generous contribution can help to alleviate some of these "burdens", and hopefully, we are a society where we are more like brothers and sisters to each other, rather than burdens to each other.
Join me and make a difference in others' lives. If you can donate generously, I will be very grateful.
On behalf of all our beneficiaries and families, thank you very much for your contribution.
Donations raised will be used to help needy patients with expensive non-standard medication, breathing equipment to mobility aids to improve their quality of life. Donations will also go towards healthcare research, innovation and training to improve patient care in the community.
About The Charity
In keeping with Mr Tan Tock Seng's Legacy of Giving, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) set up its charity arm, TTSH Community Fund, in August 1995 to improve the quality of life of our patients and the community.
Every year, our Charity disburses more than $2 million for our patient-centred programmes, and to support healthcare research, innovation and training for our staff and the community, to deliver better patient care.
From expensive non-standard medication and breathing equipment to mobility aids, community rehabilitation programmes, and even dentures to help them eat better, TTSH Community Fund helps needy patients with their out-of-pocket medical expenses so that they can gain greater independence, improve their quality of life and enable them to integrate back into the community.
Our Charity runs entirely on public donations. Every dollar to the Charity goes directly to support our activities. TTSH Community Fund is a registered charity with IPC status.
