Our Campaign Storyends 03 Oct 2020, 11:59 PM
Today is my birthday... and my little birthday wish is to remember...
... the less fortunate and disadvantaged, especially the children at Chen Su Lan's home. I have learnt about the plight of homes and other non-profit organisations, as donations decline in this difficult times, so I hope to do my little bit today, by appealing to you, my friends and other potential donors who care for these children like I do...
... at the same time, this is the way I choose to honour and remember my child who is no longer here ... to heal my deep pain within and to dry my tears, I choose to care... by caring for other children such as these precious ones at this home, who deserve so much more love, care, and also provisions of daily necessities that the home endeavour to provide for.
hence this little campaign of mine, so small an effort, I know. but that's the least I can do... the least we can do, if you can afford to... please consider contributing a little... for it will go a long way...
may you be blessed abundantly thru ur action :)
About The Charity
Our Home receives children from complex family backgrounds of abuse and neglect. Our goal is to transform these children into happy and responsible members of their respective families and the community at large. Besides providing shelter and basic needs for the residents, the Home has a holistic approach towards meeting the emotional & psychological needs of the children through activities and programmes recommended by educators and professionals. Although the Home receives funding, it is insufficient to provide for this holistic approach that would enable these children to grow up to be happy and responsible members of their respective families and the community at large.
