Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Mar 2023, 11:59 PM

Music Mem'ries is proud to be part of NKF's Kidney We Care: Let's Revolutionise! campaign. Our group, comprising five singers from a wide age range, was formed to bring joy and wonderful memories with our songs from the 60s through 80s. We do the oldies with a modern twist. Do visit us at https://www.facebook.com/musicmemries.

Come catch us LIVE at The Star Vista on 4 March 2023 from 5:30pm and, if you can, donate to this cause. We use our gift of voice to help the less fortunate. You too can use your gift of kindness and compassion to uplift others. We hope to play our part and help NKF raise $100,000 to provide subsidised treatment and holistic care for their lower income patients.

You may write to us on [email protected] should you wish to find out more.

About Campaign

Singapore is currently facing an impending kidney tsunami. More than 300,000 people suffer from chronic kidney disease, with possibly more due to undiagnosed cases. Up till today, there's more than 9,000 dialysis patients in Singapore and about 6 new patients are being diagnosed with kidney failure each day. More must be done to break this devastating trend! Will you make a stand with us?

Join us at Kidney We Care: Let's Revolutionise! (KWCLR) 2023! This event aims to continue to heighten community awareness about kidney disease and bring forth a new wave of kidney health advocates. Participate for a good cause as our volunteers bring you electrifying performances, fun activities and more at KWCLR 2023! Through this event, we hope to raise $100,000 to provide subsidised treatment and holistic care for our patients. Please support us and donate generously!

About The Charity

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is currently supporting more than 5,300 kidney failure patients, about two-thirds of the national kidney failure patient population. Our patients are of the lower income group. Treating a patient costs over $2,000 a month, however, the treatment our patients receive is highly subsidised, with 76% paying $50 or less a month out-of-pocket.

NKF remains committed to journeying with our patients every step of the way in their treatment and rehabilitative care, advocating kidney health to prevent kidney failure and making a difference in the renal landscape to benefit the community.

Partner us in giving Life & Hope to our patients now!

All donations received through Giving.sg will be channelled to NKF General Fund, which will be used to provide subsidised dialysis treatment and holistic care for our patients.
