Our Campaign Story

ends 30 Apr 2018, 11:59 PM

Dementia is a debilitating disease that impacts the quality of life for so many people; and also places an immense amount of stress on their caregivers. Its effects, so insidious, chips away the core of the people we love sometimes, and in a developed country like Singapore, it is fast becoming an ever growing concern!

In March the project associates in the Singapore office (PRAHS) will be raising money in support of Alzheimer's Disease Association (ADA) by walking 10,000 steps every day. Physical activity is proven to delay onset of dementia and is beneficial for mental health in general. This campaign is organised in line with PRA's corporate goal of health and well-being in the IMPACT 2030 initiative. Join us and walk towards better mental health!

You can also simply donate via this giving.sg campaign page. All proceeds from this page will benefit ADA directly.

About The Charity

Alzheimer's Disease Association (ADA) was formed in 1990 as a result of a growing concern for the needs of persons with dementia, their families and caregivers.

Through our work, the Association hopes to reduce stigma by increasing awareness and understanding of dementia, enabling and involving persons living with dementia to be integrated and accepted in the community, and leading in the quality of dementia care services which support persons with dementia and their families.

As a non-profit organisation, ADA operates with limited resources. We cannot battle dementia alone. Donation will help fund our programmes and services that will benefit our beneficiaries and their families.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
