Our Campaign Story

ends 05 Sep 2020, 11:59 PM

As most of you know, it's a month till my 32nd! This crazy year has gone by pretty quickly & it almost feels like we haven't really experienced 2020 at all.

One of the biggest lessons from the pandemic is how easy it is for to take things for granted, especially everyday things we don't usually notice. It's only in its absence that we begin to appreciate what we do have. Despite the circumstances, I've found that there's actually a lot I'm grateful for. Gratitude for me in 2020 has come down to the simple things, simply being alive & healthy. Gratitude is still being able to do what I do everyday at Delegate & having a job. And most importantly, gratitude is being able to have each of you in my life!

Upon reflection, I know we're blessed & in light of life circumstances & the recent pandemic, there are too many others out there that are struggling to make ends meet.

With that, I have a small request from all of you that instead of all the many dinner treats & surprises that you might have in store for my birthday - I'm hoping you'll channel your love (& money) by supporting my cause! Let's help more out there to go through these uncertain times!

Thanks so much in advance for your generosity!

P.S. #PledgeYourBirthday was a great idea that came forth from a coffee session with Melissa K from NVPC. Did this once for my 30th for Pudu Puda Foundation and loved it. If you like the idea of pledging your birthday or know someone who would, please pay it forward!
