ends 31 Mar 2023, 11:59 PMA powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023, with the death toll surpassing 45,000 and hundreds of thousands more affected by the disaster. We at M Club of Singapore are saddened to learn about this disaster that has led to significant loss of lives, injuries and damages to livelihoods and property.
To start off our new series M Club of Singapore Helps, where we lend our support to causes such as disaster relief efforts, we appeal for donations to support the disaster relief efforts carried out by the Singapore Red Cross Humanitarian Response to Turkey and Syria Earthquake. The donations will be utilized to support the needs of those affected by the earthquake, including emergency shelter, first aid and food. Your generous donations will go a long way in supporting the relief operations and helping those affected in this time of need!

We call for your support towards the Singapore Red Cross (SRC)'s humanitarian response to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that devastated Turkey and Syria. Your donation will go towards supporting the needs of those affected by the earthquake, including emergency shelter, first aid and food.
SRC has earlier pledged USD $50,000 each in humanitarian aid to the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) to directly support their ongoing relief efforts.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives and injury, as well as damage to property and livelihoods, arising from the devastating disaster, and are committed to supporting the emergency relief and recovery operations," said Mr Benjamin William, Secretary General/CEO of Singapore Red Cross, "We hope the people of Singapore will support our fundraising appeal, to bring hope and help to affected communities in Turkey and Syria."
