Our Campaign Story
ends 31 Dec 2022, 11:59 PMI have had the privilege of getting to know some of the children at The Children's Wishing Well and they have taught me so much about the joy and privilege of being able to learn music.
By volunteering my time, and helping some of these children learn an instrument or access good music and concerts, I have played just a small part in helping these kids enjoy something that many other children just take for granted or wish they didn't have it on their "TO DO" list. As parents we all want what is best for children, including the privilege of learning to play music, but some families are simply struggling to provide food and help with homework.
The smile that lights their faces when they overcome a small obstacle is priceless! If you are looking at ways of helping out children that may not have access to some of the privileges that our children enjoy, pls consider donating some time (or money if you prefer)
About The Charity
Children's Wishing Well (CWW) is a registered charity and IPC founded in 2002. We have won the Charity Transparency Awards accorded by MCCY from 2019 to 2022.
We focus on supporting children and youth from low-income families, mainly through educational programmes and financial assistance. We reach out to over 1,000 beneficiaries each year via 2 full-service centres, 7 community sites, and collaborations with other charitable organisations. We depend solely on donations from private organisations and members of public to fund our services, while keeping all our programmes and services 100% free of charge for the children and families. We believe that by providing the children with educational support and more equal opportunities, they will be able to maximise their potential and get out of the poverty trap.
Cash donations above $50 are eligible for 250% tax deduction, if full name and NRIC/FIN/UEN number are provided. We will auto-file the tax deduction with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) only if you provide your full name and NRIC/FIN number. We regret that we would not be able to process the IRAS auto-filing if you do not provide complete and accurate information. Please write to [email protected] if you wish to receive tax deduction receipt via email.
