This is something very near and dear to my heart as my beloved niece was born with a rare genetic disorder. We have been blessed that she has come into our lives and we have been able to see her grow and bloom over the years. She has been a perfect light to us as we are well situated to be her foundation, but we know that there are other families that have not been as fortunate in their circumstances and these are children who desperately need help especially as they have even more challenges than others.
We know that there is so much more than we can do for them and they need our help to find their voice and place in the world as it is a difficult path given the lack of awareness and support, especially in a society where it can be unforgiving of people who are different and where people point and judge or are simply indifferent, not viewing them as people who belong. Thus, at their most vulnerable, in their developing years, this is where any help be it in terms of therapy and medical treatments can make a world of difference.
They have the most lovely of souls as children and in cases where they have limited comprehension, they view the world through such simple eyes and even the littlest of aid really goes a long way to helping them to get to a better situation in life and in cases where they have been rejected by their families, the help will be life changing.
Pls support the charities in their invaluable work to helping these children with special needs.
