Singapore is one of the richest countries in the world, yet there are still so many poor elderly that have to work tough jobs at their age.
Many of them might be too weak or disabled, and they are unable to clean their own houses. Think about it. Who likes living in a dirty space?
It may also pose health problems in the long run.
Providing them with a clean home will also help them feel happier and allow them to live more comfortably.
Without them, we would not be able to have the Singapore today. We will all grow old one day too.
I feel that we have so much, and if each of us just donates an amount, it can make their lives easier.
I hope that if you are reading this, you will be able to empathize with the elderly and do something for them.
The donations would be used to buy new furnitures or household necessities, and is also needed for buying the paint materials and cleaning liquids to give their house a fresh new look.
Your donations will go a long way in giving the elderly enjoy a clean and hygienic environment to live in, which will make a huge difference to their physical and mental well-being.
There are 6 million people in Singapore. If everyone donates just even a bit, the money can help many elderly.
Thank you for reading this. Please donate :)
I believe the kind will be blessed and God sees your heart.
About The Charity
Habitat for Humanity Singapore is part of an international Christian housing charity that seeks to eliminate poverty housing worldwide. Convicted that safe and affordable housing provides a path out of poverty, we have been working alongside low-income communities to increase their access to improved living conditions. Since 2004, Habitat Singapore regularly sends volunteer teams to build decent and affordable houses across Asia-Pacific. Locally, we provide intensive home-cleaning for vulnerable individuals and families so they can have a safe & sanitary place to call home. To learn more, donate or volunteer, visit habitat.org.sg
