Our Campaign Storyends 13 Jun 2020, 11:59 PM
We would like to celebrate our son's first birthday by contributing to #SGUnited Initiatives to support home care for the elderly.
The funds will help minimise avoidable hospitalisation, in order to enable the healthcare facilities to be freed up to intake most critical cases during this time of the Covid crisis.
Support home care for the elderly so that avoidable hospitalisation or premature institutionalisation can be minimised. In this distressed period of the COVID-19, home care services become even more crucial as restrictions to the healthcare institutions have been put in place to keep the hospitals safe.
Let the elderly age well in the comfort of their own home and be as close to their loved ones as possible.
About The Charity
The Foundation was set up in 1995 as a society to provide home health care services that support ageing at home. It became a registered charity in January 1996 with Ministry of Social & Family Development as its Sector Administrator.
Its focus is now on the provision of home medical and home nursing services to the needy homebound elderly. As population of Singapore ages rapidly, more programmes and services are being planned.
