Our Campaign Storyends 27 Nov 2022, 11:59 PM
From mid-June through August 2022, torrential monsoon rains triggered one of Pakistan's worst floods in decades resulting in devastating urban flash floods and landslides.
The climate disaster has displaced an estimated 30 million people who are facing a public health crisis due to the destruction of water, sanitation and health facilities, worsened by the fast-approaching winter season.
As part of KPMG in Singapore's annual Giving Week initiative, we will be matching all donations made (capped at $10,000) - doubling the impact of your support.
Here's how your donation will support the immediate needs of those affected by the climate emergency:
- $80 helps provide mosquito nets and blankets for up to 10 families, protecting them from the increased risk of contracting malaria
- $500 supplies 1 portable water filter that can provide clean water for 200 people in a community
- $1,300 provides groceries and detergent for 10 - 12 families, supporting much-needed food and hygiene needs
(Note: Donations to overseas efforts are non-tax-deductible. Receipts will only be issued by Singapore Red Cross upon request.)
Another way you can contribute is by visiting The Sustainable Christmas Market, organised by PEACE OF ART SINGAPORE, where you can purchase pre-loved clothes, toys and off-season branded goods in close to mint condition. 100% of all proceeds will go towards the Pakistan fundraiser.
