Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Dec 2017, 11:59 PM

I thought long and hard about what I can do to help others. I don't have much to offer other than my time and efforts. I had recently started running this year, and thought it would be meaningful to merge my new found love for running, by raising money and awareness for charities along the way.

My first fund raiser run is to The Bone Marrow Donor Programme. I have started the ball rolling by donating $100 to my aim of raising $500 by the end of 2017 to the charity.

Donations start from as little as $10 with a valid debit or credit card, and once registered at the website your donations will be tax deductible.

About The Charity

Established in 1993, the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) manages Singapore's only register of volunteer bone marrow donors. We have been providing that one chance of survival to hundreds of patients suffering from terminal blood-related diseases. When their only chance of survival is to have a bone marrow transplant and they have no matching siblings who can donate healthy blood stem cells, they come to us.

BMDP is committed to building the local donor register into a true national asset able to help all patients have that second chance; A Donor for every Patient is what we aim for. For more information, please visit our website: https://www.bmdp.org

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
