I'm thrilled to launch this campaign for Objectifs, which holds great meaning for many in photography and film. The workshops and seminars offered by Objectifs have been a source of learning and inspiration for me and my family, and their carefully curated exhibitions have always eye-opening and sparked discussion.

Beyond personal growth, Objectifs has created a sense of belonging and community among art practitioners, enthusiasts, and those who are simply curious. Exciting news is on the horizon as Objectifs plans to expand its premises and outreach, particularly to children and youth. This development will hopefully pique your interest if you have not yet visited Objectifs!

To support this outreach, I wanted to contribute in a personal way. Inspired by the idea of connection - connecting to my own artistic aspirations, to others, and to the community - I am offering limited edition 30-minute Connection Sessions (3 slots only) for a donation of $495 or more!

During your session (inclusive of 5 high-res images), you will focus on spending quality time with your loved ones (human or animal) in one location in your home. I will provide guidance as needed to ensure a memorable experience.

Objectifs celebrates its 20th anniversary with a host of events to mark this landmark year and raise funds for an extension to its current premises at Middle Road.

This opportunity to expand our physical presence will support our efforts to cultivate original voices in visual storytelling, and to inspire and broaden perspectives through the power of images. It represents the next stage in Objectifs' aim to become one of the preeminent independent visual arts centres in the region, and to better serve the arts community and wider public with more robust programmes.

Our plans for expansion include a Youth Lab with visual literacy workshops for children and youths, an accelerator programme for artist and art collectives to encourage financial sustainability and collaborations with other industries, artist residencies, and a darkroom for alternative processes.

These new initiatives reflect our desire to support the growth of the arts eco-system more holistically. To this end, Objectifs aims to raise SGD$600,000.

Established in 2003, Objectifs is a visual arts space in Singapore that is dedicated to film and photography. We do this by presenting a year round programme of exhibitions, screenings, workshops, talks, mentorships and residencies, aimed at fostering dialogue about visual culture, and advancing the practice and appreciation of photography and film.Objectifs is a non-profit registered charity with Institution of Public Character (IPC) status. As such, your donations will qualify for a 250% tax deduction for the year 2019.
