Our Campaign Story

ends 18 Nov 2018, 11:59 PM

Sweet Kari came to us along with two of her siblings. Whilst growing up little, Kari was a happy active little pup, and we didn't notice any abnormalities in her. But as weeks passed, we noticed that her hind legs didn't seem normal - they seemed a little too straight as compared to any other dogs. She also seemed to be in pain, and even when she sits or lies down, she would tremble.

After a visit to the vet, we found out that her legs muscles are causing her legs to look "off" - they were too tight and pulling against each other, causing her discomfort. Left as it is, she will likely develop chronic issues that may affect her as she grows older.

Kari needed surgery to release the muscles, so that she can grow into a healthy and happy dog without any discomfort. The estimated surgery cost, including x-rays, medication and reviews, are expected to hit $3000.

Please also donate generously so that we can give her the best care possible! Thank you!
