Our Campaign Story

ends 19 Sep 2020, 11:59 PM

A fun, internal competition for our academy players to raise their awareness of vulnerable families needing support and relief due to the COVID-19 situation, as per the Courage Fund's aims.

The aim is to raise donations based on the number of the total number of football juggles our academy players are able to do until the last player drops the ball.

The campaign is only for Sporting CP Soccer Academy players and all the guidelines and rules will be shared on the academy's communication channels.

The aim is for every parent, friend or colleague to agree with an individual child how much they will donate per juggle completed. We recommend 50c per juggle, but this is entirely at the donator's discretion.

WE CHALLENGE EVERY S - LEAGUE CLUB AND THEIR RESPECTIVE COE TEAMS TO RUN THEIR OWN CAMPAIGN WITH A SIMILAR FUN FOOTBALL FOCUS.

FORCA TO ALL JUGGLERS!!

About Campaign

The evolving COVID-19 situation has affected Singaporeans in one way or another, including individuals who are facing loss of income or families that are struggling with additional caregiving duties and additional expenses for essential items.

The Courage Fund was first established in 2003 when Singapore was hit by the SARS outbreak. Fellow Singaporeans donated generously to the Fund to support those who were affected by the outbreak. In this same spirit of uniting the community to support one another through difficult times, Community Chest is rallying the community to provide relief and support to those affected by the current COVID-19 situation.

Where Will Your Donations Go?

Donations will go towards supporting and providing relief to vulnerable individuals and families, including healthcare workers, frontline workers and volunteers, affected by the COVID-19 situation.
