Our Campaign Story

ends 31 May 2021, 11:59 PM

I am Siang Fang, the founder of Neverneverland, a toy business for children. I just started this business in August 2020.

I was a HR professional who specialised in learning and development for over a decade in the healthcare sector. After I finished my Diploma in Biomedical Science, I worked in Singapore General Hospital (SGH) as a HR Development Assistant for a year before I had pursued my full-time Degree in Business.

I am diagnosed with bipolar disorder and migraine since 2018. My mental health story was featured by TodayOnline in 2018. After I fell sick, I had to undergo many follow-ups and medical treatments with specialists from various institutions. The medical bills were not cheap in Singapore. So, I totally can understand how it feels like to be sick and worrisome about the payment of medical bills.

In conjunction with SGH's bicentennial, I hope to give back to the community by raising funds for the patients supported by SGH Needy Patients Fund. This fund offers financial support to help patients with basic and life-saving needs such as interim dialysis, consumables and treatments when they have no other recourse and assistance.

Your donation will make a difference to the lives of the needy patients. For donors with valid mailing address, you will receive a tote bag designed by Neverneverland as a token of appreciation when the campaign ends.

Thank you for your kindness!

About Campaign

For the past 200 years since 1821, SGH has pioneered countless innovations in healthcare and healthcare management, enabling us to save lives and achieve world-class health outcomes today.

Being the largest and the nation's first hospital, SGH serves over 1 million patients annually and many are subsidised patients. These patients often face challenges, especially during times like COVID-19, to cover the cost of critical clinical care and indirect costs after exhausting all possible public assistance schemes such as MediFund.

100% of your donation will go towards helping patients with basic and life-saving needs such as interim dialysis, consumables, and treatments when they have no other recourse and assistance. Their medical conditions cannot wait. Your help is pivotal in ensuring that needy patients can receive the necessary medical care in a timely manner. To-date, the Fund has helped more than 18,000 patients.

As SGH celebrates its bicentennial, we thank all our donors for your support over the years and seek your continued warm support towards helping patients in need. Every dollar of your gift matters.

Donors with valid mailing address will receive a SGH Bicentennial token within 8 weeks after the donation has been made.

Eligible donations will enjoy 250% tax deduction. The donation will be automatically included in the donor's IRAS tax assessment and receipt will be issued upon request. If you would like one, please email us at [email protected]
