About Campaign
Women and families from low income backgrounds demonstrate high levels of stress, many face multiple internal and external stressors that affect their job prospects and their ability to break out of poverty. This includes rising transportation cost, childcare expenses, lack of stable housing, and legal fees. Research has shown that the mental stress associated with chronic debt and poverty hurts a person's ability to think clearly and make good decisions.
Understanding the importance of mental, emotional, and social well-being, Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) provides emotional and practical support for all DOT women, building a sense of community through Self Care Workshops and Emotional Support Groups.
With this fund, Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) hopes to be able to continue our support for DOT women, easing stress levels and supporting in the first steps towards holistic well being and potentially changing lives.
