Our Campaign Story
ends 25 Nov 2022, 11:59 PMHi! My name is Georgie. A little bit about me: I'm ten years old, and I go to school in Singapore. Best of all, I am getting a dog soon! I am already in love with him. Do you have a pet? If you do, you probably love them to bits! But let's talk about the pets that don't have owners. How would it feel to have left your mother/father, been taken halfway across the world, just to get put in a not-so-comfortable cage, with humans not taking a second glance at you? One word: Horrible. But guess what? The SPCA has helped SO MANY dogs feel more at home in their shelter.
But the SPCA depends mostly on funds from sponsors, donors, fundraising, and a few others to give their animals the best life in the shelter as much as possible. So let's help out by sending our best wishes and a donation. Every penny counts!
About The Charity
The SPCA is a registered non-profit animal welfare charity with IPC status, and our two main objectives are to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals.
The SPCA is not funded by the government. Relying mainly on kind donations from the public and fundraising to support the shelter and clinic, inspectorate work and animal rescue services, as well as other initiatives such as our foster care programme, sterilisation programme for community animals, and education and outreach efforts.
Over 100 animals are taken in by the Society every month. Most of these animals are abandoned, unwanted, abused, sick/injured or lost. Our officers have rescued numerous animals, like Gemma, Aiden and Cookie, across Singapore (see above video).
To carry out our animal welfare work, we require over S$3,000,000 annually.
You can make a difference to the animals.
Your kind donation will directly impact upon our operations in providing shelter, food, medical attention and love to the rescued animals that walk through our doors each day.
Your donations are eligible for 250% tax deduction.
