I met Lily and Lulu a year ago, below my block when I was returning home from work late one night, since then they have been keeping me company almost every night. Few months ago, Lulu went missing, searches in the vicinity and Missing posters turns up nothing. Though i feared the worst. I still yearn for her return, and so is lily I'm sure.
During my search, I came into contact with Groups like Yishun cat patrol, Cats welfare society and lily low shelter. Didn't know them previously. I realize it's crucial for groups like them exists, so as to mitigate the sufferings of these pitiable strays often Lacking food / shelter and subjected to human abuses.
My interaction with lily and lulu leaves me with a deeper appreciation of life. All strays are living breathing and feeling creatures, they bleed, hunger, fear and feel pain just like us. The fact that they are strays doesn't makes them any lesser, they never chose to be strays in the first place.
I do not know exactly how this thing work, but I'm hoping more will support cat welfare society and other groups like lily low shelter for their selfless meaningful work.
Lulu my friend, I hope you will return one day.
