Our Campaign Storyends 15 Nov 2020, 11:59 PM
Hi everyone! We are Hopes 2 Hearts, a new ground-up initiative that aims to help vulnerable families.
With the pandemic and economic downturn resulting record-high unemployment rates, we intend to help one of the most vulnerable communities in Singapore, especially families with children.
This is a 3 months pilot program serving this target group, making sure that the families have food on their table. We will be providing them with 2 meals a day as well as volunteers to show them compassion, kindness, and hope.
We hope that through daily meal deliveries, our volunteers can expose the children to another way of life, so that the children know that there is indeed hope for them, instead of their world being limited to their immediate environment.
We are very grateful to Free Food for All in providing us with packed meals. 100% of the funds raised would go to them directly for the provision of meals.
We are looking to raise $49,680 to reach out to 120 beneficiaries, 2 meals a day for 3 months.
From 15 Aug, daily meals would be delivered to Jurong, Choa Chu Kang, Bt Panjang, Telok Blangah & Spooner Rd areas at following timing:
Lunch - 12pm
Dinner - 6pm
Hopes 2 Hearts hope to form deep and meaningful connections with these families so that we can identify any issues before they worsen and escalate to relevant agencies for assistance.
We hope to have your support in donation to help us help these vulnerable families during this challenging time.
About The Charity
Free Food for All (FFFA) had given out more then 500,000 meals since its inception in early 2015.
FFFA is meant for everyone and anyone who needs a meal. However, we provide special emphasis to the elderly, disabled and financially distressed. We hope that by fulfilling a basic human need for food, they will be empowered to take action and raise themselves out of poverty. We also believe that our project has the potential to foster a more gracious society and strengthen community spirit especially between neighbours.
We are hopeful and optimistic that FFFA, with the gracious help of the community, can run entirely on contributions from members of the public.
