Our Campaign Story

ends 19 Apr 2020, 11:59 PM

Simple individual fund raising to help support people affected by the covid 19 situation. No donation is too small as it all adds up. :)
While I do not have much financial resources to help (full time student with a small side business selling memory lockets), I thought...Hey, why not use my handmade jewelry to help raise some funds?
So, those who donate at least $25 can receive a pair of handmade mask-design earrings (with hypoallergenic surgical steel), as a thank you for your generosity! You can then wear masks out without competing and depleting the nation's supply of masks too (side bonus).

Drop me a direct message on my Facebook page or Instagram or Carousell. My username on all social media is Hobeylocks. Simply state you'd like to redeem the earrings and I'd let you know my pop up booth location or if it's inconvenient for you to go there, I will cover normal mail to mail to you!
For FB: www.facebook.com/hobeylocks. For Carousell: sg.carousell.com/hobeylocks
For Insta: @hobeylocks

To redeem the earrings this week (23-29 march)- You may come down to China Square Central level 1 (now known as Cross Street Exchange) from 23-29 March 2020 from 12-7.30pm (near Hong Lim Complex and next to Nankin Row) to collect. Drop me a DM on social media first to make sure I have some with me.

Thank you again for your generosity and/or sharing of this campaign!

About Campaign

The evolving COVID-19 situation has affected Singaporeans in one way or another, including individuals who are facing loss of income or families that are struggling with additional caregiving duties and additional expenses for essential items.

The Courage Fund was first established in 2003 when Singapore was hit by the SARS outbreak. Fellow Singaporeans donated generously to the Fund to support those who were affected by the outbreak. In this same spirit of uniting the community to support one another through difficult times, Community Chest is rallying the community to provide relief and support to those affected by the current COVID-19 situation.

Where Will Your Donations Go?

Donations will go towards supporting and providing relief to vulnerable individuals and families, including healthcare workers, frontline workers and volunteers, affected by the COVID-19 situation. Find out more about The Courage Fund COVID-19 Relief Schemes and their eligibility criteria at https://www.ncss.gov.sg/thecouragefund.
