Our Campaign Story

ends 29 Jun 2021, 11:59 PM

My name is Vivek and I have initiated this campaign for 'Community Chest' to support the Arts community which is one of the most affected but often not a much-highlighted sector in the news during Covid-19.

A sector that primarily thrives on physical interactions, live experiences, and gallery viewings, it can very well be imagined how this pandemic has brought the work of artists to a standstill- whether it's a visual art form or performing arts.

There are unprecedented venue closures, cancellations of live programs, dismissed artwork auctions. All these when combining with the challenges in meeting rentals and staff payroll- are leading to a cash flow crisis for many Art organizations.

There is also a section of society comprising of underprivileged and disabled kids who are in the middle of pursuing Arts. Such turbulent times should not deter them from continuing on their creative journey.

Why am I doing this campaign?

I have been part of 'Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts' for an Arts course in 2018 and this experience helped me in progressing towards my passion for Arts. I am fortunate enough to be able to do something in return for the local Arts community when it is needed the most.

How can you contribute?

I am trying to raise funds by donating my artwork. You can place an order at my website https://artrayal.com/shop. In return, you can donate the order amount directly to this platform.

Thank you for your support !!!
