Our Campaign Story
ends 11 Oct 2022, 11:59 PMWe have been stepping up precautions to safeguard our residents as Covid-19 cases continue to rise in the community.
Since the start of the pandemic, we have expended tremendous resources on Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) such as masks, isolation gowns, gloves and eye goggles. With the spike in community cases, MOH now requires our frontline staff to wear N95 masks rather than surgical masks for better protection. Additionally, the frequency of covid-19 testing has stepped up for our staff as well as residents, requiring more ART kits.
The costs to sustain these medical supplies amount to around $250K a year.
Please help us fight the covid battle as more measures are stepped up for the safety of our staff and residents.
All eligible donations will enjoy 250% tax deduction. The donation will be automatically included in the donor's IRAS tax assessments.
About The Charity
Society for the Aged Sick (SAS) is a non-profit nursing home that provides long-term residential and respite care services for the elderly, especially the less-privileged.
With a team of committed healthcare professionals and caregivers, we believe in adding years of quality life to our residents through holistic caregiving.
Established in 1968 as a 16-bedded facility, we now have 404 beds in our current location.
We hope to create a home within a home environment where our residents can enjoy professional and individualized care. Every resident is treated with respect, and we affirm that our residents' dignity is at the core of our work.
