Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors is proudly supporting Lions Befrienders, a charity providing friendship and care for our seniors.
There are times when we feel lonely but for many of us, that loneliness is often short-lived. However, the loneliness some of our seniors experience can be for a long time.
How can we ease the loneliness our seniors face? Perhaps we can start by reflecting on our own relationships with our seniors. Have we been ignoring them? Have we been spending enough time with our seniors? What kind of help can we offer to them?
Over the years, Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors organised several projects to bring joy to the elderly and help relieve their loneliness. For example, during festive occasions, we organised parties and celebrations for residents at local nursing homes.
This year, we are supporting Lions Befrienders by organising the “Help Prevent Elderly Loneliness” campaign. Lions Befrienders is a charity providing friendship and care for the elderly. By donating to this campaign, you enable them access to resources to help fight loneliness among our seniors.
Please donate generously to this campaign! You can donate to this campaign by purchasing tickets to Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors' funeral home tours. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to this fundraiser. Please visit www.angchinmoh.com.sg/Tours for updates about our tours. You can also donate directly to this fundraiser through this fundraising page.

About The Charity
Established in 1995, LB has more than 25 years of experience in befriending and caring for seniors in order for them to age in place in the community. Over the years, LB strives to address the varied needs of more than 86,000 seniors by adopting a senior-centric approach in its eldercare services. Leveraging on the support of some 1,000 regular volunteers, we actively engage more than 6,000 at-risk seniors via a spectrum of integrated eldercare service from preventive to intervention through comprehensive programmes, including social, emotional, mental and physical, to improve their quality of life.
Amid the challenges in the eldercare landscape, LB undertakes constant review and adjustment to its programmes and services. Under our Community Outreach arm, we currently operate 10 Active Ageing Centres, 3 Cluster Support, 2 Senior Group Homes and Home Personal Care services. Our Befriending arm extends island-wide befriending services to socially isolated seniors. For its exemplary disclosure and corporate governance practices, LB was conferred the Charity Transparency Award by the Charity Council in 2016 and 2017.
