Our Campaign Story
ends 09 May 2017, 11:59 PMI have seen and known of Louie when he was boarded at a Commercial boarding farm by his owner. A sweet and loving boy who was subsequently abandoned there. K9 Missions - K9M (K9M), ALL's rehoming partner, succeeded in finding Louie a home to call his own.
When Louie developed a limp, K9M took him to see a Vet. Louie was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Adopter suggested putting him to sleep. Louie was then placed with a fosterer whose helper was willing to take care of him.
Louie is now under treatment by Dr Jean-Paul Ly and the holistic medicines do not come cheap.
The road to his recovery may be long and tedious but Louie is either oblivious to his condition or his cancer is gradually going into remission, as can be seen in his will to live ... still eating and walking. Only time will tell.
With K9M strapped for cash and ALL continuing to struggle with providing a roof over the heads of the hundreds of doggies and kitties at ALL Shelter, Louie will not be able to continue his treatment.
When there is still life in Louie, there is still hope and hope is all he has left now.
Hope is all he asks of you.
Help us continue with his treatment and God willing, he just may beat the odds to show us what it takes to cure cancer, not only in animals but in humans as well.
Remember, any amount you give to Louie will add up to cover the cost of his treatment.
Thank you.
About The Charity
Animal Lovers League (ALL) is a registered charity and home to about 500 dogs and cats, and the animals under its care consist of vagrant strays, abandoned, traumatised, abused and rescued animals.
Animal Lovers League (ALL) is strictly no-kill.
Animal Lovers League (ALL) aims to encourage the public to adopt instead of buying animals, and endeavours to rejoin the animals at Animal Lovers League (ALL) with loving and committed families.
Animal Lovers League (ALL) constantly needs the support of the pubic to help to keep the charity running and continue caring for the animals. Some of the ways members of the public can help include giving monetary contributions and monthly pledges, donating food for the cats and dogs and fostering the animals.
