Barely a year old, Bobby-S still has lots of balls to fetch and grass pastures to explore, but his encounter with a vicious hit and run accident had robbed him of his mobility.
Driving along Choa Chu Kang one night, the rescuers discovered Bobby-S lying motionless by the side of the road. It was obvious that he was the unfortunate victim of a hit and run accident, left to die by the irresponsible driver. The rescuers quickly rushed him to a vet to seek medical treatment, and were informed that the poor dog had one of his legs broken in the accident. The only way to allow him to regain use of his leg was to undergo surgery. Brave Bobby-S went under the knife and had a plate and screws placed in his body to set the broken leg in place. Our brave little soldier is currently recovering from the surgery and learning to cope with the pain.
Although Bobby-S is still rather timid and suffers from traffic trauma, we are happy to see that he can walk on all fours again. With each passing day, Bobby-S is slowly opening up to us and becoming a little stronger and friendlier.
His medical bill now stands at $5,100 and we hope you can donate and help us nurse Bobby-S back to health. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity.
