Our Campaign Story

ends 29 Apr 2019, 11:59 PM

Two months ago, we rescued Brownie after he was run over by a lorry. He had to undergo emergency surgery to save his life. His injuries were extensive, and we feared we would have to amputate his leg. Thankfully, with your donations, he recovered day by day in the hospital, and was discharged to foster care after nearly a month.

Our hearts sank once again, when Brownie started to deteriorate for unknown reasons after a few days. His back legs became so weak and painful, he was unable to stand up on his own. When we carried him, he would cry and snap at us as it had hurt so bad. He was admitted once more, and had an MRI & CT scan this time round.

MRI & CT images had shown that he may have some slight abnormalities in his spine, and though it seemed fairly unlikely to be causing so much pain, there isn't anything else that seemed unusual. Even the strongest pain medication didn't seem to do much for him. Surgery seems to be the only option right now.

We need your help once again, so that Brownie can walk again. In total, we have already spent $18000 for his last surgery, his scans and previous hospitalization. We hope to be able to raise enough to cover his MRI scans and 2nd surgery. Please donate to help Brownie. Thank you!
