Your GIFT creates REAL impact!
Meet Charmaine (not her real name), a 4-year-old student who benefits from the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC) for her hearing loss at Canossaville Preschool.
The Canossaville Preschool is the only mainstream preschool in Singapore with a specialisation of working with children with hearing loss, with intervention sessions held during curriculum hours.
It is a struggle for Charmaine's family to meet their daily needs. Charmaine's mother has to put aside money each month for Charmaine's brother who requires monthly occupational therapy at KKH. Charmaine's grandfather has a heart condition, and while he is able to work, most of his salary goes to his medical care.
To ease their burden, Canossaville subsidises half of Charmaine's preschool and school bus fees. We believe that a child's preschool years are crucial for their development, even more so for children with disabilities such as hearing loss.
Your donations to Canossaville's Making A Difference (M.A.D) Fund will help us strive to do all we can for Charmaine and others like her.
The M.A.D Fund is set up to support children and their families within Canossaville's community. Donations raised will be utilised for programmes and activities dedicated to children with hearing loss and multiple disabilities.
Thanks to the support of Tote Board's enhanced fund-raising programme, all donations to this fund, will be matched with an additional 40%!
Thanks to the support from Tote Board, every dollar donated to this campaign will be matched with an additional 40% and will go towards supporting Canossaville's Making A Difference (M.A.D) Fund.
Canossaville Children and Community Services (Canossaville) serves children across preschool and primary school ages. We support both neurotypical children and those with hearing loss and multiple disabilities. Regardless of their family circumstances or their conditions, we strive to build an inclusive environment for these children, and ensure that our programmes are accessible to all.
For infants and young children with hearing loss, wearing hearing aids and having cochlear implants is just the beginning of the journey. Children with hearing loss need more intense and intentional intervention with support from trained therapists and teachers.
Your donations can MAKE A DIFFERENCE to our children and their families.
The Making A Difference (M.A.D) Fund is set up to support children and their families within Canossaville's community. Donations raised will be utilised for programmes and activities dedicated to children, especially those with hearing loss and multiple disabilities. This could include, but are not limited to programme fee subsidies, purchase of equipment and resources essential to the running of programmes and services to improve the holistic well-being of children and their families.
