Our Campaign Story

ends 25 Jun 2020, 11:59 PM

To celebrate International Yoga Day, Haus Athletics will be holding a special HIIT x Yoga session with our instructors Reagan and Stephanie to raise funds for Singapore Red Cross Society. We'll start off with a HIIT session, followed by a stretch yoga session to cruise you into the evening.

The aim of this session is to raise funds and help offset the operations costs of islandwide delivery of essentials to the migrant workers community in Singapore. Besides masks and hand sanitisers; hygiene kits, soap and shampoo will be distributed to them with the help of your donations.

With the ongoing support from our community, we strive to give back and make a difference to those around us. Every little donation goes a long way. 100% of the proceeds go straight to Singapore Red Cross Society.

This session is complimentary and open for anyone who would like to join us!

Date: 21st June 2020, Sunday
Time: 4.30 PM
Equipment : Yoga mat, a towel and water bottle

About Campaign

As of 21st April 2020, the number of COVID-19 cases has risen over 9,000, with a majority of new cases coming from the migrant worker community. During this extended Circuit Breaker, all foreign workers staying in dormitories in Singapore will be on full lockdown, which means they will no longer be allowed to leave or enter their dormitory premises.

With your help, the Singapore Red Cross is working to deliver essentials like masks and hand sanitizers to this affected community. The aim of this campaign is to raise funds to help offset the operation costs of islandwide delivery of essentials to our migrant worker community, so that they can stay safe and protect themselves as best as possible.

On April 20th, the Singapore Red Cross delivered over 57,000 masks and hand sanitizers to migrant worker dormitories islandwide. Yesterday (April 22nd), our team was on the move, sending out a second tranche of 17,000 masks to three sites, for dormitories islandwide.

More will be shared with the dormitories in the upcoming weeks. On top of masks and hand sanitisers, we're planning to distribute hygiene kits, soap, shampoo etc as well.

Please note that donations to this campaign go towards offsetting the direct operations costs that can run to $10,000 or more per month. There are no plans as yet to purchase essentials but we may do so when the needs arise.

Thank you for donating. Stay safe, everyone!
