Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Oct 2020, 11:59 PM

As a fan of Xiao Zhan, I am very touched to see the amazing efforts that Xiao Zhan's various Xiao Fei Xias have contributed to charity. I would like to do my part and initiate this fund-raising campaign as a birthday project for Xiao Zhan.

Hospice care is a special type of health care focusing on the comfort and quality of life for patients with life-limiting illness and their families. It is a holistic approach that supports not only the physical but also the emotional well-being of patients and their families. Speaking as someone with a family member who has received hospice care support, I want to take this opportunity to promote awareness of this care available in Singapore, which is especially difficult to maintain during COVID-19.

Note: Donations are highly welcome, even if what we collect exceeds this campaign goal as the organization's target is much higher. As a token of appreciation for your donation, a small gift will be prepared in limited quantities (optional). Kindly contact me via [email protected] or contact me via FB messenger (Soong Mie Lin) if you are interested to receive the gift.

We need your help now more than ever!

Support our our patients and their families by making a donation to HCA Hospice Care.

About The Charity

HCA Hospice Care (HCA) is Singapore's largest home hospice provider and has been a registered charity since 1989. The organisation provides comfort and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, nationality and financial status.

We understand the medical and psychological needs of patients, caregivers and their families. By managing our patients pain and other symptoms with specialised care and support, we enable them to spend their last days at home, in comfort and dignity, with their families and loved ones.

Additionally, we care for the caregivers by providing them with psychosocial support, practical training, and advice at all hours with our 24/7 hotline.

As all our services including home hospice service for adults are provided free-of-charge to all patients under our care, we rely on donations to support what we believe is a basic right: to die with dignity.

With your contribution and commitment to helping us, we are confident of achieving our goal to adding life to the days of patients with life-limiting illnesses.
