Our Campaign Story

ends 30 Apr 2022, 11:59 PM

St John's Home for Elderly Persons is a sheltered Home for needy elderly. The Home has been able to provide and care for vulnerable elderly through the unwavering support of donors like you. No matter the amount, your donation will enable them to continue providing for the elderly in one way or another.

Many elderly persons do not have family members to support them financially and emotionally. These lonely folks need our help to bring joy back to their lives. With your donation, they can be assured of accommodation, daily balanced meals, medical care, caregivers to assist them in the Home and even simple recreational materials to spend their lonely time with.

With their move to 1 Willow Avenue by the end of 2021, the Home will be ready to accommodate up to 150 needy elderly persons. To provide for and accommodate more elderly who are in need of support and help, you can help the Home defray the day-to-day needs for each of them.

During this challenging period due to the pandemic, they have not been able to receive visitations by volunteers, something they cherish dearly. To let them know that they are valued and remembered, let us do our part by supporting them through our donations. Knowing that they still matter and are cared for will definitely bring joy and hope back to them.

About The Charity

Established in December 1958, St. John's Home for Elderly Persons is a Sheltered Home for elderly persons who are ambulant and aged above 60.

Our Mission is to provide shelter and care to meet the physical and spiritual needs of elderly persons who have no home and no children or close relatives with adequate resources to care for them.

The Home is open to all regardless of race or creed.

We are not a Government-subvented Home and depend largely on the public's generosity to enable us to continue our work. Your donations will be greatly appreciated.
