Our Campaign Story

ends 01 Nov 2020, 11:59 PM

Hi everyone! We are Project Apetionate, a group of Secondary 2 Hwa Chong students who are passionate about the welfare of animals, and are campaigning for greater awareness on pet abandonment and adoption in Singapore.

This year, due to the challenges of COVID-19, many animal welfare groups (AWGs) like Causes for Animals are having difficulties in raising funds to support their various programmes due to the restrictions in place. As such, this presents an incredibly stressful period for these AWGs, as they need money for pet food, medical treatments, and other rehabilitation programmes. Hence, we would like to lend a helping hand to Causes for Animals to help raise funds to tide over this tough period of time.

Please contribute as much as you can to help the strays!

About The Charity

Causes for Animals (Singapore) Limited (CAS) is an animal welfare charity set up and registered in 2013 to support the needs of local animal welfare in Singapore. CAS employs programmes and policies to promote best practice with involve ethical, sustainable and compassionate treatment of these animals.

Our current adoption centre houses up to 50 rescued dogs to be rehabilitated for rehoming. CAS has a no-kill policy of animals placed in our care. Animals are given optimal care and decisions on medical treatment rely upon vet advice. Medical assistance is also provided to injured dogs rescued by third parties. Shelter operational costs, veterinary services and medical supplies average $25,000 month.

CAS relies on public donations for funding.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
