Friday was found at the edge of a drain, and his rescuer brought him home. He was dirty, smelly and underweight, and even had a lump on his tail, and was bleeding slightly from his anus. He also has a problem with his back legs, his paws are flat and turned the outer way and this makes it difficult for him to walk. His body tends to dip at the stomach area and so his weight needs to be under control. If he puts on weight that adds more pressure on his legs and makes it difficult for him to walk.
Friday needs monthly injections to keep his legs strong. Without this he tends to drag himself around which causes him discomfort and prolonged dragging also causes soars for him. During rainy days he gets lethargic and prefers to drag himself around. To make sure he doesn't do that, his current fosterer puts a towel around his belly and makes him walk around instead. Friday also has skin issues on and off that requires his fosterer to monitor his diet closely. Depsite all these, is a happy boy who loves to sit around and observe people.
He recently had a case of twisted stomach and had to go in for an emergency surgery. He's much better now, but need to monitor so that it doesn't happen again.
Todate Friday's medical bills total $3500 and continues to grow because of his legs. Please help us fight this battle alongside him by helping with his medical costs. No amount is too small !
