Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Aug 2019, 11:59 PM

We are Team Solidarity He, a group of students selected as one of the Citi-YMCA teams under the Youth for Causes initiative, and we are excited to play a part in impacting families in Singapore. The "He" in our name is the Chinese word for together as we are promoting unity in the home.
Nurturing stronger bonds is essential to all families. We believe that family is instrumental in a cohesive society and therefore hope to see families grow closer together by spending time interacting with one another. Through this process, we hope to eventually address other societal concerns such as teen suicide and depression. This is why we chose to support Focus on the Family.

Winston Churchill once said, "There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues . . . are created, strengthened and maintained." People's values and character are cultivated through the family. So, it is crucial for families to build strong ties and inculcate good values.

The money collected from this campaign goes to Focus on the Family and it will help them with running their meaningful programs and events that nurture healthy families. If you too believe in the importance of family, your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
