Our Campaign Story

ends 30 Apr 2021, 11:59 PM

Covid-19 has affected the livelihood of many less fortunate families and elderly in Singapore. These are extremely challenging times for those with lesser resources and lower-income families.

With the widespread impact on the general economy, charitable organisations such as Food From The Heart are experiencing up to 80%-90% drop in sponsorship funding as well as donations.

With the increase in the number of beneficiaries and recipients of aid, Food From The Heart will require the generous support of the wider society to continue putting food on the table for the less fortunate families and elderly beneficiaries.

As fellow Singaporeans, let's lend a hand to help our fellow brethren whom might have to worry about their daily meals. No one should have to worry about going hungry and skipping meals. Your generous support and kind gesture will help make a difference to the lives of up to 44,000 beneficiaries.

Linkflow Capital will co-match up to 20% of funds raised from this campaign to Food From The Heart. The donations you make are also automatically eligible for up to 250% tax deductions.

About The Charity

Food from the Heart is a charity founded in February 2003 by Singapore-based Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer, who were inspired to channel surplus food from bakeries to families in need after they read an article about bread wastage.

Today, Food from the Heart is Singapore's foremost independent food charity with IPC status that makes a tangible and meaningful contribution to fighting hunger through bread rations and food packs, and bringing joy through the distribution of toys and birthday celebrations. With the support of donors, food industry partners and more than 10,000 volunteers, Food from the Heart made a difference to the lives of 44,600 people throughout Singapore by distributing S$6.2 million worth of food in 2019.
