About Campaign

The River Monster lurks in the Marina Reservoir. It looks for ways to contaminate our fresh water because it knows the reservoir is the nation’s water tap. It feeds and grows on the litter and is always happy when it sees people polluting the Reservoir.

Waterways Watch Society has introduced an interactive environmental programme called "Fight the River Monster" to young children to equip them with knowledge and strategies on fighting this “evil monster”.

Young fighters are given challenging tasks like coming up with strategies on conserving our water supply should the River Monster become stronger. Your contribution will help us educate children into being more mindful of his/her environmental actions and to be more responsible in taking care of our environment.

These young fighters will record their meaningful experiences in the form of reflections and even suggest ways as to how they can continue to be Green Champions after participating in our VIA(values-in-action) programme.

About the Charity
