Our Campaign Story
ends 11 Nov 2020, 11:59 PMHi! My name is Ellie, and I am turning 5 years old! Our family has been supporting World Vision for the past many years through sponsoring children and I have also been learning about the needs of children in poor countries.
So for my birthday celebration this year, I hope to raise funds for the poor through World Vision! I want to help those affected by disasters, those who need clean water and those who cannot afford to go to school. So I did a storybook titled 'Polar Bear Was Lost!' to share how we can all help one another, especially those who are lost.

About The Charity
World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice.
World Vision Singapore is a branch of World Vision International, and is a registered charity with Commissioner of Charities in Singapore.
In planning, implementing and evaluating its work, World Vision staff considers the basic needs of the child and the dynamics of the particular child's community. Does the child have a healthy diet? Is he or she attending school? Does the child have access to adequate health care, clean water, housing and clothing? Do his or her parents have an opportunity to improve the family's condition by growing more food or starting a small business?
All projects are regularly measured against such goals and objectives. Audits are conducted regularly by field staff and occasionally by outside consultants to ensure that the project is on track and is meeting the specific goals established by community leaders and World Vision.
Our help is offered without any reference to the religious faith of those with whom we work. People from Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu and animist communities all receive help from World Vision.
World Vision accounts for every dollar. Audits are conducted regularly by external firms to verify the accuracy of World Vision's financial reporting.
