Our Campaign Story

Team Edutomahawk is partnering with Canossaville Children and Community Services for Citi-YMCA Youth for Causes 2020!

Since the creation of Team Edutomahawk in 2013 by the first batch of youths from ITE College West, the team has always believed that, just like the American Tomahawk Missile, one should aim high and continue to strive for excel throughout the years in education and beyond. Over the years, the team has partnered with many social service agencies and supported many causes impacting children and education.

Our seniors have previously partnered with Canossaville and had a very meaningful and enriching experience working with the agency and its beneficiaries. This year, as the eighth batch of Team Edutomhawk, we wish to continue the good work of our seniors and hope to support Canossaville. Our team aims to raise awareness
of the needs of the children and families under their care and to raise a target sum of $10,000 through this campaign to further support their learning support programs, therapy services and operations cost in their preschool and student care.

On behalf of our children and families at Canossaville, we THANK YOU for your generosity and support for Canossaville in their journey of helping the families and providing joy and comfort for their children.

About The Charity

Canossaville Children and Community Services (Canossaville) runs Canossaville Preschool, Canossaville Student Care and Canossian Child Development Unit. Our programmes cater to both mainstream students, as well as those with hearing loss, giving priority to those living in the lower income neighbourhoods. With your generosity, you help to ensure that these children receive the resources they need to thrive and grow.

Founded by the Canossian Sisters in 1941, Canossaville operates under the guidance of the Canossian Daughters of Charity. We are licensed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Canossaville is also an approved Institute of Public Character (IPC) and is authorised to receive tax-deductible donations.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
