Our Campaign Story

I wanted to do something meaningful this summer, something that I can hold dear to my heart and be proud of. I love teaching but I also wanted to contribute to a meaningful cause. So I asked my parents what I could do. They suggested I contact some parents with young children asking if they are in need of a mathematics tutor, and in place of receiving a fee, I ask them to donate 20$ to the Children's Cancer foundation for every class. I chose the Children's Cancer Foundation because of how relevant their cause is to me. As a teenager myself, I can't fathom the idea that thousands and thousands of children have their lives cut short, due to the effects of cancer, due to the fact that they simply cannot afford decent healthcare.
