How Your Donation Makes a Difference
Your generosity will allow patients to receive specialized palliative care and comfort provided at the hospice especially for those who are unable to be cared at home.
Your contribution will make outings to new places of interest and revisiting of places filled with pleasant memories possible for our patients.
Your support will enable homecare nurses to provide nursing care in the homes of our patients for those who wish to be cared for at home.
Your donation will help subsidise the cost for essential medical supplies required to alleviate the symptons of pain and discomfort for the patients.
Our Campaign Storyends 31 Mar 2019, 11:59 PM
Chinese New Year is a period of celebrations and gatherings. Families and friends visit one another at their house and surround dinner tables to chat about life, work, relationships... the list is endless.
In this period of merrymaking, it can be easy to forget about how fortunate we all are. In reality, not everybody can afford new clothes, a table full of Chinese New Year Goodies, or to be in the pink of health.
As we welcome the Year of the Pig next month, we would like to sincerely appeal to you to support our cause through making a token donation via this little campaign that we have created to help our beneficiaries in need.
Dover Park Hospice is Singapore's first purpose-built hospice, caring for those nearing the end of life's journey.
As a non-profit organization, an institute of public character and recipient of the 2017 President's Volunteerism and Philanthropy Award, we open our doors to people of every age, race, religion, and income level. Our team of healthcare professionals and volunteers is wholly committed to their calling to enhance the living, comfort the dying, and support the grieving with compassion and dignity.
About The Charity
Dover Park Hospice was founded in 1992 as a secular, nonprofit organisation to meet the growing need in Singapore for hospice care for terminally-ill patients. It is Singapore's first purpose-built hospice, designed to provide a serene environment close to nature.
Open to everyone regardless of age, race, religion or income level, Dover Park Hospice is dedicated to meeting the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those who are nearing the end of life's journey. The goal is to enhance the living, comfort the dying and support the grieving with compassion and dignity.
To cover its operating expenditure which is estimated at $18.3 million per year, Dover Park Hospice relies a lot on fundraising activities and kind donations from generous well-wishers and corporations.
